In P6 we have just got hold of Izac 9. This is basically a big box of cubes that have mathematical symbols on each side. The box comes with software that provides different mathematical tasks that the children have to solve in groups. It can be frustrating, but most of the time it's quite fun.
As well as using it in class, we are also using it as part of our Shared Education project with the P6 class from Cranmore Integrated Primary School in Belfast.
