Pen Licence
31st Jan 2017
We are currently trying to improve standards in handwriting throughout the school. Teachers are reinforcing basic letter formation and letter joins when appropriate in handwriting lessons. Pupils will be given a ‘Pen Licence’ when they consistently demonstrate neat, joined handwriting in all of their work. This usually takes place in KS2. Pupils will then be able to write with an ink-pen in their school books. Pupils who gain a licence will be presented with a certificate in Congratulations Assembly.
Well done to Charlie Hanna P6, Thomas Welch P6, Michaela Boggis P7 and Stewart Lynas P7, who all received certificates last week.
